Architecture Students from Universidad Panamericana Experience Wine Culture at La Bordalesa Casa Leal Vineyards
Aguascalientes, Mexico – October 2025
Third-semester students from the School of Architecture at Universidad Panamericana, Campus Aguascalientes, participated in an educational wine tasting experience at La Bordalesa Casa Leal Vineyards, located in the northern region of Aguascalientes.
The visit offered students a unique opportunity to learn about the winemaking process, from grape cultivation to fermentation and aging techniques, directly from experts at the vineyard. Through this immersive experience, students gained valuable insight into the relationship between architecture, landscape, and regional identity, appreciating how design and environment coexist in the production of high-quality wines.
As part of the visit, participants also enjoyed a wine tasting session, complemented by a selection of gourmet appetizers specially prepared by La Bordalesa Casa Leal. The event fostered dialogue around culture, aesthetics, and sensory experience—key elements that enrich architectural education.
This activity reflects the School of Architecture’s commitment to integral learning, encouraging students to explore connections between built environments, cultural heritage, and the art of living well.
