Visit to Casa Leal vineyard

It is a tradition that every year the group of third semester students of the Bachelor of Architecture have an encounter with the culture of wine.

On this occasion we had the opportunity to be kindly received by Viñedos Casa Leal thanks to the hospitality of its general director, Ing. Jorge Ríos.

During the visit, the group of students and academics were assisted and advised by Jorge Ríos Jr., who, with his great knowledge of family tradition, explained the details of the transformation of grapes into delicious Aguascalientes wine.

The visit included a visit to the vines, the manufacturing facilities, and the Casa Leal cellar.

As a central part of the visit, a pairing session was held in which our friendly hosts offered gourmet canapés while a variety of five wines from the winery were tasted.

Acquiring knowledge of the world of wine is very important for future architects in the sense that, due to their professional activity, they will have to deal with people of high social level who are most likely wine connoisseurs.
