Visit to buildings in México City
October 14 to 16, 2024
For three days, students from the Architecture School at Universidad Panamericana, Aguascalientes campus, explored an array of significant buildings in Mexico City. Participants, representing semesters from first through seventh, had the opportunity to admire classical architecture in the historic downtown area, including the iconic Palace of Fine Arts and the Metropolitan Cathedral.
As they ventured further into the city, the group visited landmarks such as the Angel of Independence and observed the striking modern skyscrapers lining Reforma Avenue.
On the third and final day, they concluded their tour with a visit to Chapultepec Park, where they marveled at celebrated cultural sites such as the Museum of Modern Art, the Rufino Tamayo Museum, and the renowned National Museum of Anthropology. Designed by the acclaimed architect Pedro Ramírez Vázquez, this masterpiece stands as a testament to his influential role in shaping modern Mexican architecture.
