Urban Land Institute Fall Meeting 2023 in Los Angeles, Calif.

October 30th to November 3rd. 2023.

The dean of the School of Architecture, Mtro. Luis Arturo Méndez Alba attended this meeting as associate member of the Urban Land Institute.

ULI is a model organization in the U.S.A. created with the aim to "Shape the future of the built environment for transformative impact in communities worldwide".

Our School of Architecture has a especial conection with the Institute thanks to our participation in the UrbanPlan project offering urban planning workshops to students and the community in general to promote a good design of cities, districts and neighborhoods.

After visiting and networking in the event, Mtro. Méndez Alba visited the Los Angeles offices of MvE+Partners, a prestigious architecture firm, in order to reach agreements for projects developments forming a team with Universidad Panamericana. The selected project for this new collaboration will be Attainable Housing for low income people in México.

This time the main topic of the Fall Meeting was homelesness, a topic that fits perfectly with the brand new project with MvE+ Partners Architects.
