ULI FALL MEETING 2023

As part of the linkage and development activities of the School of Architecture of the Universidad Panamericana, our dean Luis Arturo Méndez Alba attended the annual fall meeting of the Urban Land Institute held in the city of Los Angeles.

On this occasion, the event had as its central theme the problem of the homeless with the intention of finding housing solutions for these people marginalized in society.

Méndez Alba attended various events and meetings in which he had the opportunity to follow up on projects such as UrbanPlan, through which the School of Architecture offers workshops on urban development and improvement.

On the other hand, Mr. Méndez had the opportunity to visit the MVE+Partners offices to reach agreements for the joint development of an accessible housing project, a concept linked precisely to the main theme of the event.

Thanks to this event, Mr. Méndez Alba also had the opportunity to visit some important architectural works such as the Walt Disney Concert Hall, the Hollywood Bowl, the Bonaventura Hotel and the Cathedral of Our Lady of Los Angeles.
