The group of second semester of the School of Architecture of Universidad Panamericana in Aguascalientes had a tour to admire three impressive buildings in the city of Guadalajara in the state of Jalisco, México.

The group, led by architect Eduardo Cárdenas Castellanos visited in first instance the Cabañas Museum, formerly an orphan house designed by the prestigious Spanish architect Manuel Tolsá that includes the mural masterpieces of José Clemente Orozco, one of the greatest Mexican painters in history. The style of this building is Mexican neoclassical.

The second building is another neoclassical masterpiece, the Santos Degollado Theater, designed by architect Jacobo Gálvez. Degollado Theater is the main stage of the city and house of the local Philharmonic Orchestra.

Finally, the group payed a visit to Templo Expiatorio del Santísimo Sacramento, a neo-gothic  masterpiece designed by the prestigious Adamo Boari, an Italian architect who came to México to build his most famous works. He is also responsible of the design and construction of Palacio de las Bellas Artes, one of the symbols of the country, and Palacio de Correos, another neo-gothic marvel. Both buildings in Mexico City.
