International Summer Course

As part of the international activities of the School of Architecture, Dr. Iris Díaz Carrasco from Universidad de Granada in Spain visited our campus to offer a full official course on the subject of Theory of Architecture I, including topics like the significance of architecture, culture and society and the core concepts of the profession.

Dr. Díaz Carrasco was teaching the subject every day during three weeks in our School of Architecture while also transferring Spanish cultural aspects to the students.

During her visit to Aguascalientes City, Iris visited significant places from the point of view of an architect. She was impressed by local curiosities like Museo de la Muerte, Museo Posada and the Tres Centurias complex. She also visited some of the neighboring villages and vineyards of the region.

Thank to her visit, an academic connection is established, and from now on, Iris will continue collaboration with the School of Architecture.
