International Summer at the School of Architecture
June 2024.
During June and July 2024, the School of Architecture offered three regular courses inside the International Summer Program of Universidad Panamericana in Aguascalientes.
The courses given in our campus were Theory of Architecture I and II.
Theory of Architecture I was under the wise guidance of Architect Julian González Gómez from Universidad del Istmo in Guatemala. Architect González Gómez in a renowned academic in his country as well as a private practitioner of his profession and art professor. Universidad del Istmo is a sister university if Universidad Panamericana and our School of Architecture already has an agreement of collaboration with the Faculty of Architecture and Desing of UNIS, as it is known colloquially.
Theory of Architecture II was in charge of Dr. Tomasz Tomaszek from Rzeszów University of Technology in Poland. Dr. Tomaszek is a highly specialized architect in the field of wood construction and preservation, he was able to inspire our students to know more about easter architecture in Europe emphasizing that not everything is France, Italy, or Spain. Easter countries and specially Poland, have a lot to offer in the tradition and history of world architecture.
Booth professors were working with students of third and fifth semesters during three weeks in June and July.
