The School of Architecture at Universidad Panamericana, Aguascalientes campus, successfully held its 2025 International Summer Program during June and July, welcoming renowned international faculty who brought diverse academic perspectives and global expertise to the classroom.
The program featured three official courses taught by distinguished professors from prestigious institutions worldwide:
· Theory of Architecture I, taught by Arq. Fredy Massad Japas from Universidad de Navarra, Spain.
· Theory of Architecture III, taught by Dr. Rubén Andrés Alcolea Rodríguez from Roger Williams University, United States.
· Urban Legislation and Habitability, taught by Dr. Jonathas Magalhanes Pereira da Silva from Pontifical Catholic University of Campinas in São Paulo, Brazil.
Throughout their stay, the visiting professors not only delivered academic lectures but also engaged closely with students, fostering an enriching exchange of ideas. They participated in various academic activities, social interactions, and guided visits to sites of architectural interest within the city of Aguascalientes.
As a result of this collaborative initiative, plans are already underway to establish dual-degree programs between Universidad Panamericana and the three universities represented by the guest professors. This milestone reflects the institution’s commitment to expanding academic opportunities and fostering international cooperation.
By participating in the International Summer Program, students gained a broader, global perspective on the professional practice of architecture—an experience that strengthens their academic formation and prepares them to face the challenges of an increasingly interconnected world.
