Every beginning of the academic year, the School of Architecture of the Universidad Panamericana Aguascalientes campus offers its student and academic community an event in which it presents important speakers on current topics. For this occasion, it was the turn of Dr. José Manuel Magaña Rufino and Mtro. Luis Arturo Méndez Alba.

Dr. Magaña came to our school to present the topic of Artificial Intelligence and its Legal Implications. Dr. Magaña, senior specialist and judge in intellectual property cases, presented the latest on issues of legal abuse of A.I. in addition to its ethical and professional implications. Likewise, he emphasized that the application of artificial intelligence in the practice of architecture is still just another tool for the development of a project and does not offer final solutions by itself, always requiring the judgment of an expert. for interpretation.

Luis Arturo Méndez Alba, dean of the School of Architecture, presented the topic of Resilience in a Successful Professional Life. Resilience, explained the dean, is a capacity that is developed, not a personality trait, as such, one that can be cultivated and improved to be able to face personal and professional challenges. He also explained that resilience has two expressions, reactive and preventive, and invited students to cultivate a preventive approach by adequately preparing at university for future professional development within a highly globalized and competitive environment.
