On December 5, 2025, the Bonaterra campus of Universidad Panamericana in Aguascalientes became the epicenter of local creative talent with the celebration of ArquiExpo IX. Organized by the School of Architecture, this event marked the official closing of academic term 1258 (August–December 2025), consolidating its position as the most important showcase for the university’s design and construction community.
A Gathering of Authorities and Community
The significance of the exhibition was underscored by the presence of the institution’s highest authorities. Mtro. Antonio de los Reyes Moreno, Campus Rector, and Dr. Ramiro Velázquez Guerrero, Vice Rector, led the opening ceremony.
Accompanied by members of the Architecture Faculty, as well as family and friends of the exhibitors, the authorities toured the displays featuring projects by students from every semester of the Architecture program. From basic residential concepts to complex urban developments, ArquiExpo IX reflected the students’ technical and aesthetic evolution.
Semester Achievements: History, Criticism, and Internationalization
During the main ceremony, Mtro. Luis Arturo Méndez Alba, Dean of the School of Architecture, delivered a detailed graphic presentation of the milestones achieved throughout the term. Among the highlights were:

This cultural and technical exchange promises to provide students with a global perspective on minimalist design and landscape integration—cornerstones of Japanese architecture.
Gala Closing
Following the presentation of results and future projects, the academic community and guests enjoyed a cocktail reception. This networking space allowed students to receive direct feedback from professors and loved ones, bringing a semester of intense work and dedication to a distinguished close.
