Antesala Cocktail Ceremony

The School of Architecture at Universidad Panamericana, Aguascalientes campus, hosted the Atesala Cocktail Ceremony in the Aula Aguascalientes to honor ninth-semester students and their families for reaching their fifth year in the Architecture program (class 2021-2026). The event recognized this significant academic milestone and marked the beginning of the students’ final year of study.

The evening began with a warm welcome from Mtro. Luis Arturo Méndez Alba, Dean of the School of Architecture who, congratulated the students on their achievements and offered an overview of the academic and professional activities planned for their final year.

Dr. Ramiro Velázquez Guerrero, Vice-Rector of the Aguascalientes campus, addressed the students, emphasizing that a university career is not a sprint but rather a marathon—requiring perseverance, resilience, and sustained effort.

The program also featured a keynote conference by Mtro. Oscar Loureiro, who spoke on the skills necessary to compete successfully in the global professional arena.

Mtro. Eduardo Cárdenas Castellanos, Director of the Architecture program, delivered a retrospective of the students’ first four years, highlighting their academic projects, extracurricular activities, and contributions to the school’s community.

Finally, Dra. Brenda Estefanía Díaz Macías, Academic Director of the School of Architecture, presented to students and their families the graduation requirements, outlining the process leading to their professional qualification.

The ceremony concluded with a cocktail reception, offering an opportunity for students, families, faculty, and administrators to celebrate together and share in the excitement of the journey ahead.
